Inspection of Materials. The contractor shall provide proper facilities at all times for the inspection and testing of materials, and the Superintending Engineer shall have access at all times to the place of storage or manufacture. The contractor shall give sufficient advance notice of placing orders so as to permit tests to be completed before the materials are Incorporated in tl1e work and he shall afford such facilities as the Superintending Engineer may require for collecting and forwarding samples and making inspection. The contractor shall . not make use of or incorporate in t he work the materials represented by the samples until tests have been made and the materials found to be in accordance with the requirements of the specifications. All stored materials shall be inspected at the time of use in the work event xxxxx they may have been inspected and approved before being place din storage or during storage. Materials may be inspected and tested at any time during the progress of the work and defective materials rejected
Inspection of Materials. All articles, materials, and supplies purchased by the Contractor for the Work are subject to inspection upon delivery to the site and during manufacturing or fabrication The County reserves the right to return for full credit, at the risk and expense of the Contractor, all or part of the articles, materials, or supplies furnished contrary to Specifications and instructions. Nothing in this section shall abrogate or otherwise limit or relieve the Contractor’s independent duty to inspect materials.

Supplier agrees to inspect all container materials, upon receipt by Supplier or its suppliers or agents, for external condition, intact and authentic seals, and compliance of the type and number of containers and labeling set forth in the delivery of the documents on a batch-by-batch basis.

Licensee agrees to allow Intel to inspect the first instance of the use of the Licensed Marks and to spot check the use of the Licensed Marks in Materials which refer to either the License Marks or any Intel Marks to ensure compliance with the terms of this Agreement. Intel shall promptly review such Material upon it receipt by Intel. Licensee agrees to make any modification to such Material that may be requested by Intel relating either to the Licensed Marks or to any Intel Marks prior to Licensee's release of such Materials to the public. Such reviews and modification request shall not be construed to make Intel responsible for the contents of the Material and Licensee remains solely responsible for such content.
Inspection of Materials. 1. If the Contract Documents, the District, or any instructions, laws, ordinances, or public authority requires any part of the Work to be tested or approved, Design-Build Entity shall give reasonably prior notice inform the District of the date fixed for such inspection. Required certificates of inspection (or similar) shall be secured by Design-Build Entity . DBE will comply with all testing and inspection requirements set forth in the project plans and specifications and the approved TIA. Costs for District testing and District inspection shall be paid by the District. Costs of tests for Work found not to be in compliance shall be paid by the Design-Build Entity.
2. If any Work is covered up without the required testing or approval, the Design- Build Entity shall uncover or deconstruct the Work, and the Work shall be redone after completion of the testing at the Design-Build Entity’s cost in compliance with the Contract Documents.
3. Where inspection and testing are to be conducted by an independent laboratory or agency, materials or samples of materials to be inspected or tested shall be selected by such laboratory or agency, or by the District, and not by Design-Build Entity. All tests or inspections of materials shall be made in accordance with the commonly recognized standards of national organizations.
4. In advance of delivery of materials to be supplied by Design-Build Entity which must be tested or inspected, Design-Build Entity shall notify the District so that the District may arrange for testing at the source of supply. Any materials which have not satisfactorily passed such testing and inspection shall not be incorporated into the Work.
5. Reexamination of Work may be ordered by the District. If so ordered, Work must be uncovered or deconstructed by Design-Build Entity . If Work is found to be in accordance with the Contract Documents, the District shall pay the costs of reexamination and reconstruction and shall issue a Change Order to adjust the Contract Price. If such work is found not to be in accordance with the Contract Documents, Design-Build Entity shall promptly correct the work without adjustment of the Contract Price.
