Hospital practice protocol means a written plan, policy, procedure, or agreement that authorizes drug therapy management between hospital pharmacists and physicians within a hospital and the hospital’s clinics as developed and determined by the hospital’s P&T committee. Such a protocol may apply to all pharmacists and physicians at a hospital or the hospital’s clinics or only to those pharmacists and physicians who are specifically recognized. A hospital practice protocol shall comply with the requirements of subrule 8.34(3).
Clinical practice guidelines means a systematically developed statement to assist
Medical practice act means laws and regulations governing the practice of allopathic and osteopathic medicine within a member state.
Community practice protocol means a written, executed agreement entered into voluntarily between an authorized pharmacist and a physician establishing drug therapy management for one or more of the pharmacist’s and physician’s patients residing in a community setting. A community practice protocol shall comply with the requirements of subrule 8.34(2).
Best management practice (BMP means a structural device or nonstructural practice designed to temporarily store or treat stormwater runoff in order to mitigate flooding, reduce pollution, and provide other amenities.
Technical Committee means the body established in accordance with article VII;
Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice means the current standards of the appraisal profession, developed for appraisers and users of appraisal services by the Appraisal Standards Board of the Appraisal Foundation.
Unethical practice means any activity on the part of bidder, which try to circumvent tender process in any way. Unsolicited offering of discounts, reduction in financial bid amount, upward revision of quality of goods etc after opening of first bid will be treated as unethical practice.
Practice of pharmacy means providing pharmacist care requiring specialized knowledge, judgment, and skill derived from the principles of biological, chemical, behavioral, social, pharmaceutical, and clinical sciences. As used in this division, "pharmacist care" includes the following:
Procurement Committee means a Committee constituted by the Employer to perform the functions as such under the terms and conditions of Contract.
Professional Conduct Committee means the professional conduct committee established by the Council in terms of section 12(2)(b);
Practice of architecture means professional services, such as consultation, investigation, evaluation, planning, design, or review of material and completed phases of work in construction, alteration, or repair in connection with a public or private structure, building, equipment, works, or project if the professional service requires the application of a principle of architecture or architectural design.
Medical Board means the North Carolina Medical Board.
Managing Committee means the individual or the body of individuals entrusted or charged with the management and administration of a private educational institution and where a society, trust, or an association manages more than one such institution, includes the managing committee of each such institution;
Medical Advisory Committee means the Medical Advisory Committee established by the Board as required by the Public Hospitals Act;
Standards Board means the Professional Standards Board established pursuant to 14 Del.C. §1201.
Operating Committee means the Operating Committee of Epoch which meets frequently and is responsible for implementing the Company’s strategy, making operational decisions and overseeing the day-to-day running of the Company.
Air Standards Manager means the Manager, Human Toxicology and Air Standards Section, Standards Development Branch, or any other person who represents and carries out the duties of the Manager, Human Toxicology and Air Standards Section, Standards Development Branch, as those duties relate to the conditions of this Certificate.
Technical Advisory Committee means a committee established under section 12;
Project Operations Manual or “POM” means the Recipient’s manual referred to in Section I.D of Schedule 2 to this Agreement, as such manual may be amended from time to time with the agreement of the Association.
Regulatory Oversight Committee means the committee of the Board constituted in accordance with Rule 204.
Executive Board means a group of directors elected or appointed to act on behalf of, and within the powers granted to them by, the commission.
Executive manager means an individual employed by a new motor vehicle dealer in an executive capacity and who has a written employment agreement with the dealer that includes a right for the executive manager to purchase a controlling interest in the dealership at a future time or on the death or incapacity of the dealer.
Coordinating Committee means the committee designated and elected as provided in section 16d in connection with a township consolidation.
Advanced practice nurse means a person who holds current certification as nurse practitioner/clinical nurse specialist from the State Board of Nursing.
Development Committee shall have the meaning set forth in Section 3.4.1.
