The Professional Conduct Committee shall not serve as a prosecutor of cases involving alleged violations of professional standards.
The Professional Conduct Committee does not have power to impose sanctions, and its findings of fact, interpretations of professional standards, advice, and recommendation are not binding.
Within 21 days of a Disclosure Event, a Member is also required to send a statement to the Professional Conduct Committee setting out the reasons why that Member considers that the Member’s membership should not be affected, including suspended (whether or not on an interim basis) or terminated and that Member’s name removed from the Registers.
The responding party to a motion under section 30 shall be the Professional Conduct Committee.
