Tort Claimant definition

Tort Claimant means the holder of a Tort Claim.
Tort Claimant means any Person who holds or asserts a Tort Claim but excludes an Unknown Tort Claimant.
Tort Claimant means the holder of a Tort Claim. A “Pending Tort Claimant” or a “Class 6 Claimant” is a holder of a Pending Tort Claim, and a “Future Tort Claimant” or a “Class 7 Claimant” is a holder of a Future Tort Claim.

  • If the Tort Claimant rejects or the Reorganized Debtor, in consultation with an Involved Insurer, objects to a Liquidated Value Offer, the Tort Claimant may elect to proceed with the processing of his or her Tort Claim as provided in Section 3.2 and the Claims Reviewers will provide notice of the Tort Claimant's decision to the Debtor, which in turn shall provide notice to the Insurers of the Tort Claimant's election.
