Township means an urban living area that any time from the late 19th century until 27 April 1994, was reserved for black people, including areas developed for historically disadvantaged individuals post 27 April 1994
townsite in relation to the townsite to be established near the harbour means a townsite (whether or not constituted and defined under section 10 of the Land Act) primarily to facilitate the Company’s operations in and near the harbour and for employees of the Company and in relation to the mining areas means such a townsite or townsites or any other townsite or townsites which is or are established by the Company for the purposes of its operations and employees on or near the mining areas in lieu of a townsite constituted and defined under section 10 of the Land Act;
Highway means the entire width between the boundary lines of every way or place open to the use
township register means an approved subdivision register of a township in terms of the Deeds Registries Act;
Road means any highway and any other road to which the public has access, and includes bridges over which a road passes.
RD means research and development;
Lane means a public thoroughfare which provides a secondary means of access to a parcel or parcels and which is registered in a land titles office;
Village means a village specified by the Governor by public notification to be a village for the purposes of this Part and includes a group of villages so specified.
River means a flowing body of water or a portion or tributary of a flowing body of water, including streams, creeks, or impoundments and small lakes thereon.
Suite means an elevated box or suite which is customarily an enclosed private or collective compartment inside the Stadium, with direct access to guests’ Seats, which are separated from other Seats in the Stadium.
Parkway means the area between a sidewalk and the curb or traffic lane. It may be planted or unplanted, and with or without pedestrian egress.
Crosswalk means that part of a roadway at an intersection included within the connections of the

Front Yard means a yard extending across the full width of a lot between the front lot line of the lot and the nearest wall of the nearest main building or structure on the lot;
harbour means the port or harbour at or near Port Hedland or such other port or place mutually agreed on and serving the Company’s wharf;
Drive means to operate or be in actual physical control of a
public road means any road, street or thoroughfare or any other place which is commonly used by the public or any section thereof or to which the public or any section thereof has a right of access and includes -
Spring means a source of water where an aquifer comes in contact with the ground surface.
SC means the Special Conditions of Contract by which the GC may be amended or supplemented.
community centre means any school, railway station, police station and other location providing a service to the community;
Youth center means any public or private facility that is primarily used to host recreational or social activities for minors, including, but not limited to, private youth membership organizations or clubs, social service teenage club facilities, video arcades, or similar amusement park facilities.
Terrace means a relatively level step constructed in the face of a graded slope surface for drainage and maintenance purposes.
Bay means parking bay;
asylum seeker means a person who is not under 18 and has made a claim for asylum which has been recorded by the Secretary of State but which has not been determined;
Graywater means untreated wastewater that has not been contaminated by any toilet discharge, has not been affected by infectious, contaminated, or unhealthy bodily wastes, and does not present a threat from contamination by unhealthful processing, manufacturing, or operating wastes. “Graywater” includes, but is not limited to, wastewater from bathtubs, showers, bathroom washbasins, clothes washing machines, and laundry tubs, but does not include wastewater from kitchen sinks or dishwashers. Health and Safety Code Section 17922.12.
