Toxic air pollutant definition
Toxic air pollutant means any of the carcinogens, chronic toxicants, acute systemic toxicants, or acute irritants that are listed in 15A NCAC 02D .1104.

Toxic air pollutant. (TAP) means any Class A or B toxic air pollutant listed in WAC 173- 460-150 or -160 as in effect on August 21, 1998. The term toxic air pollutant may include particulate matter and volatile organic compounds if an individual substance or a group of substances within either of these classes is listed in WAC 173-460-150 or -160. The term toxic air pollutant does not include particulate matter and volatile organic compounds as generic classes of compounds.
