Transiting Service definition

Transiting Service means switching and intermediate transport of traffic between two Telecommunications Carriers, one of which is a Party to this Agreement and one of which is not, carried by the other Party to this Agreement that neither originates nor terminates that traffic on its network but instead acts as an intermediary.
Transiting Service means switching and intermediate transport by a third party, who is not subject to this agreement, for traffic originating from and terminating to the Parties.
Transiting Service means switching and intermediate transport by a third party, who is not subject to this agreement, for traffic originating from and terminating to the Parties.

Examples of Transiting Service in a sentence

  • The originating Party shall also be responsible for paying any Transiting Service charges, if any, charged by the other Telecommunications Carrier.

  • If WSP does not record and identify the actual amount of Transit Traffic delivered to it through SBC-13STATE's Transiting Service, then WSP shall deduct from the amount of total Conversation MOU on its bill to SBC-13STATE (for reciprocal compensation) a percentage that is equal to the percentage that Transit Traffic minutes bear to the total billed Conversation MOU on SBC-13STATE's bill to WSP (for reciprocal compensation) for the same time period.

  • The rates that Telco shall charge for Transiting Service are outlined in Appendix – Pricing (Wireless).

  • Telco's Transiting Service rate is only applicable when calls do not originate with (or terminate to) Telco's Customer.

  • Carrier is responsible for payment of the appropriate Telco Transiting Service rates on Transit Traffic originating on its network delivered to Telco, unless otherwise specified.

  • Neither shall Carrier default bill Telco when Telco provides Transiting Service for unidentified traffic terminating to Carrier, unless otherwise provided for in this Agreement.

  • Telco's Transiting Service allows Carrier to send traffic to a third party network through Telco's Tandem Switch and to receive traffic from a third party network through Telco's Tandem Switch.

  • A Transiting Service rate applies to all Conversation MOUs between Carrier's network and a third party's network that transits Telco's network.

  • Carrier shall deliver traffic to be handled by Telco's Transiting Service to Telco's Tandem Switch(es).

Related to Transiting Service

  • 911 Service means a universal telephone number which gives the public direct access to the Public Safety Answering Point (“PSAP”). Basic 911 service collects 911 calls from one or more local exchange switches that serve a geographic area. The calls are then sent to the correct authority designated to receive such calls.

  • CMU Service means the Central Moneymarkets Unit Service, operated by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority;

  • alerting service means a service provided to notify appropriate organisations regarding aircraft in need of search and rescue aid, and assist such organisations as required;

  • air service means a flight or a series of flights carrying passengers, cargo and/or mail for remuneration and/or hire;

  • Generation Service means the sale of electricity, including ancillary services such as the provision of reserves, to a Customer by a Competitive Supplier.

  • Company Service means the Company's email, Internet, security management services provided to End Users for the purposes of conducting Company's internal business.

  • Delivery service means the providing of electric transmission or distribution to a retail customer.

  • Support Service means an activity, such as information technology, accounting, human resources, legal, and other support functions that are required to support the ongoing delivery of core services.

  • Auditing Services means those services within the scope of the practice of a certified public accounting firm licensed under Chapter 473 of the Florida Statutes, and qualified to conduct audits in accordance with government auditing standards as adopted by the Florida Board of Accountancy.

  • Police Service means the South African Police Service established by section 5(1) of the South African Police Service Act;

  • Testing service means a national testing service selected by the board.

  • Service/s has the meaning set forth in letter D. of the Preamble.

  • Prepaid wireless calling service means a telecommunications service:

  • Service Switching Point (SSP) is a telephone central office switch equipped with a Signaling System 7 (SS7) interface.

  • Hosted Service means the provision of and access to the Vocera Care Transition Software and related services either at your site and/or via secure electronic access over the Internet provided to you by Vocera and/or its designee. Defined terms used in this XXXX, but not defined herein, are defined in the Supplemental Terms and Conditions in Attachment 3.

  • Basic generation service or "BGS" means electric generation

  • Prepaid calling service means a telecommunications service:

  • Cloud Service means any distinct, subscription-based, hosted, supported and operated on-demand solution provided by SAP under an Order Form.

  • 900 service means an inbound toll telecommunications service purchased by a subscriber that allows the subscriber's customers to call in to the subscriber's prerecorded announcement or live service, and which is typically marketed under the name "900 service" and any subsequent numbers designated by the federal communications commission. "900 service" does not include the charge for collection services provided by the seller of the telecommunications service to the subscriber, or services or products sold by the subscriber to the subscriber's customer.
