Transplant Field definition

Transplant Field means all indications that involve the suppression of rejection of transplanted organs, bone marrow or other tissue, including, solid organ transplantation (including tolerance induction and xenotransplantation), bone marrow transplantation, graft versus host disease and cell transplantation.
Transplant Field means the treatment or prophylaxis of RSV infection in human transplant patients eighteen (18) years old or greater.
Transplant Field means the Transplant Indications.

  • If at any time thereafter, Company becomes aware or reasonably believes that any Mixed Books and Records containing Mixed Know-How useful for the Defined Organ Transplant Field have not been delivered to Company, Newco shall cooperate fully with the Company to deliver such items to the Company in a prompt and expeditious manner.

  • In the event Newco is successful in obtaining a license to the Additional IR Patents and/or the Stanford Patent Application, Newco shall, to the extent the field of use of such license includes the Defined Organ Transplant Field, grant to Company a sublicense under such patents for purposes of developing, manufacturing and commercializing Licensed Products in the Defined Organ Transplant Field.

  • Such sublicense would be exclusive subject to Newco’s limited rights in the Defined Organ Transplant Field under clause (ii) of the Newco Field, as to which the sublicence would be non-exclusive.

  • The sublicenses granted here are exclusive for (i) the detection, diagnosis or clinical management of cancer, or conditions that are a precursor to cancer, and (ii) all applications and purposes outside the Defined Organ Transplant Field, and are non-exclusive as to clause (ii) of the Newco Field.

  • Company covenants that in the event that it exercises its right to seek a direct license to such patent rights from Stanford as permitted under this Section 2.6, unless otherwise agreed by Newco in writing, Company (i) will limit the field of its license from Stanford to the Defined Organ Transplant Field, (ii) will limit its license to the matters covered under clause (ii) of the Newco Field a non-exclusive license or co-exclusive with Newco.

  • In the event Newco does not obtain such a license within 7.5 months, Company may seek a direct license to such patent rights from Stanford for the Defined Organ Transplant Field, and agrees not to seek such a license prior to such time.

  • Each Party shall allocate its Operating Expenses and each of the expenses listed in subsections (i) through (v) above between the Transplant Field and the Asthma Field, either based on the field-specific nature of the expenses in question or, in the case of expenses lacking a clear association with a particular field, based on reasonable accounting methodologies consistently applied throughout such Party’s organization.

  • The Parties hereby acknowledge and agree that the goals for joint development of Licensed Products hereunder will be to obtain and maintain Regulatory Approval for use in the Asthma Field and in the Transplant Field (and, in particular, in transplant maintenance) for the Licensed Product in the U.S. Territory and the European Union.

  • If Drug Approval Applications with respect to both the Transplant Field and the Asthma Field have been approved in such country and Roche’s royalty obligations with respect to one of the Collaborative Fields have not expired, then this Section 8.5 shall only apply to that fraction of Licensed Product allocable to the Expiring Field, which shall be calculated in a manner consistent with Section 10.3(b).

  • Biomarker means a parameter or characteristic in a patient or Patient Sample, the measurement of which is useful (a) for purposes of selecting appropriate therapies or patient populations or monitoring disease susceptibility, severity or state, or monitoring therapies for such patient and/or (b) for predicting the outcome of a particular treatment of such patient.

  • Clinical means having a significant relationship, whether real or potential, direct or indirect, to the actual rendering or outcome of dental care, the practice of dentistry, or the quality of dental care being rendered to a patient;

  • Licensed Product means a product or part of a product in the Licensed Field of Use: (A) the making, using, importing or selling of which, absent this license, infringes, induces infringement, or contributes to infringement of a Licensed Patent; or (B) which is made with, uses or incorporates any Technology.

  • Bioassay means the determination of kinds, quantities or concentrations and, in some cases, the locations of radioactive material in the human body, whether by direct measurement, in vivo counting, or by analysis and evaluation of materials excreted or removed from the human body. For purposes of these rules, “radiobioassay” is an equivalent term.

  • Commercialization or “Commercialize” means activities directed to marketing, promoting, research and development as required, manufacturing for sale, offering for sale, distributing, importing or selling a product, including sub-licensing or sub-contracting of these activities.

  • Licensed Compounds means: (a) Research Program Active Compounds; (b) Novartis Active Compounds; (c) salts, hydrates, solvates, esters, metabolites, intermediates, stereoisomers and polymorphs of Research Program Active Compounds or Novartis Active Compounds; and (d) prodrugs of Research Program Active Compounds or Novartis Active Compounds (any of the foregoing, a “Licensed Compound”).

  • Collaboration Product means a pharmaceutical product containing or comprising Compound in any dosage form alone, or in combination with, one or more other pharmaceutically active ingredients, and any and all Improvements thereto.

  • Prosthesis means an artificial substitute for a missing body part.

  • Medical marijuana product means a product that contains cannabinoids that have been extracted from plant material or the resin therefrom by physical or chemical means and is intended for administration to a licensed patient, including but not limited to concentrates, oils, tinctures, edibles, pills, topical forms, gels, creams, and other derivative forms, except that this term does not include live plant forms.

  • Marihuana-infused product means a topical formulation, tincture, beverage, edible substance, or similar product containing marihuana and other ingredients and that is intended for human consumption.

  • Licensed Territory means worldwide.
