Travel and Subsistence Cost definition

Travel and Subsistence Cost means travel and subsistence costs incurred by employees when working beyond a reasonable commuting distance from their normal place of residence.

  • Fuel Cost Policy means the document provided by a Market Seller to PJM and the Market Monitoring Unit in accordance with PJM Manual 15 and Operating Agreement, Schedule 2, which documents the Market Seller’s method used to price fuel for calculation of the Market Seller’s cost-based offer(s) for a generation resource.

  • Personnel Costs means the costs of researchers, technicians and other supporting staff to the extent employed on the relevant project or activity;

  • Travel Expenses means any costs incurred by Licensor associated with the transportation, storage or lodging of equipment, supplies, Licensor employees and other items necessary for business use from Licensor headquarters to Licensee’s facilities. Travel expenses may include, but are not limited to airfare, hotel costs, and meals if applicable. Any travel expenses paid by the Licensee shall be paid at allowable government travel rates consistent with Management Directive 230.10, unless otherwise first approved by the Licensee’s authorized representative.

  • Police Chief means the Chief of Police or temporary acting Chief of Police of the Department.

  • Business Travel Policy means our business travel policy. A copy of our current Business Travel Policy is attached as Schedule 1 to Exhibit B.

  • long-term insurance business means the business of providing or undertaking to provide policy benefits under long-term policies, but does not include -

  • Travel costs ’ means expenses for transportation, lodging, subsistence (meals and incidentals), and related expenses incurred by employees who are on travel status on official business of the recipient for any travel outside the country in which the organization is located. “Travel costs” do not include expenses incurred by employees who are not on official business of the recipient, such as rest and recuperation (R&R) travel offered as part of an employee’s benefits package that are consistent with the recipient’s personnel and travel policies and procedures.

  • Insurance Costs means the sums described in paragraph 1.1 of Part 5 of the Schedule;

  • Skilled and trained workforce means a workforce that meets all of the following conditions:

  • Environmental and Social Management Framework or “ESMF” means the framework included in the EA setting out modalities to be followed in assessing the potential adverse environmental and social impact associated with activities to be implemented under the Project, and the measures to be taken to offset, reduce, or mitigate such adverse impact.

  • Travel Arrangements means: (a) transportation: (b) accommodations: and (c) other specified services arranged by the Travel Supplier for the covered trip.

  • Legal and Sustainable means production and process methods, also referred to as timber production standards, and in the context of social criteria, contract performance conditions (only), as defined by the document titled "UK Government timber procurement policy: Definition of Legal and Sustainable for timber procurement" (available from the Authority on request and from the CPET website). The edition current on the day the Contract is awarded shall apply.

  • Group long-term care insurance means a long-term care insurance policy which is delivered or issued for delivery in this State and issued to:

  • Transportation network company driver or “driver” means an

  • Medical Expense means an expense incurred at the time a past member or his or her health reimbursement account dependent is furnished the medical care or service. To be considered a medical expense under this act, the expense shall meet all of the following conditions:

  • local expenditures means expenditures in the currency of the Borrower or for goods or services supplied from the territory of the Borrower; and

  • Long-term care insurance means group insurance that is authorized by the retirement system for retirants, retirement allowance beneficiaries, and health insurance dependents, as that term is defined in section 91, to cover the costs of services provided to retirants, retirement allowance beneficiaries, and health insurance dependents, from nursing homes, assisted living facilities, home health care providers, adult day care providers, and other similar service providers.

  • Travel Insurance means coverage for personal risks incidental to planned travel, including one or more of the following:

  • Direct Cost means a cost not to exceed the cost of labor, material, travel and other expenditures to the extent the costs are directly incurred to provide the relevant assistance or service. “Direct Cost” to the Acquirer for its use of any of a Respondent’s employees’ labor shall not exceed the average hourly wage rate for such employee;

  • Support Services Policy means Elastic’s support services policy for a Product, as further described at a URL referenced in an applicable Addendum.

  • Planned Expenditures shall have the meaning provided in the definition of the term Excess Cash Flow.

  • Environmental and Social Management Plan or “ESMP” means a site-specific environmental and social management plan to be prepared in accordance with the parameters laid down in the ESMF and acceptable to the Association, setting forth a set of mitigation, monitoring, and institutional measures to be taken during the implementation and operation of the Project activities to eliminate adverse environmental and social impacts, offset them, or reduce them to acceptable levels, and including the actions needed to implement these measures.

  • Training Costs means reasonable costs incurred to upgrade the technological skills of Full-Time Employees in Illinois and includes: curriculum development; training materials (including scrap product cost); trainee domestic travel expenses; instructor costs (including wages, fringe benefits, tuition and domestic travel expenses); rent, purchase or lease of training equipment; and other usual and customary training cots. “Training costs” do not include, except where the Company receives prior written approval of the Department, costs associated with travel outside the United States, wages and fringe benefits of employees during periods of training, administrative costs related to Full-Time Employees of the Taxpayer, or amounts paid to an affiliate of the Company.

  • Actual Working Capital has the meaning set forth in Section 2.7(a).
