Tribunal Hearing means either a hearing before the First Tier Tribunal or the Upper
Tribunal Hearing means the hearing for a proceeding before the tribunal.
Tribunal Hearing means a proceeding conducted by VCAT under Division 1 or 2 of Part 4;

Examples of Tribunal Hearing in a sentence

  • If a Respondent fails to attend the Internal Tribunal Hearing without reasonable cause, the hearing may proceed and a determination may be made by the Tribunal in the absence of the Respondent, provided that the Tribunal is satisfied that this Schedule has been complied with.

  • If the respondent(s) is not present at the set hearing time and the Tribunal Chairperson considers that no valid reason has been presented for their absence, the Tribunal Hearing will continue subject to the Tribunal Chairperson being satisfied that all Tribunal notification requirements have been met.

  • Witnesses may be asked to wait outside the Tribunal Hearing until required.

  • If the Tribunal considers that at any time during the Tribunal Hearing there is any unreasonable or intimidatory behaviour from anyone, the Chairperson may deny further involvement of the person in the hearing.

  • If the Tribunal Chairperson considers that a valid reason for the non-attendance of the respondent(s) is presented, or the Tribunal Chairperson does not believe the Tribunal notification requirements have been carried out correctly, then the Tribunal Hearing will be rescheduled to a later date.

  • If the respondent(s) is not present and the Tribunal Chairperson considers that no valid reason has been presented for their absence, the Tribunal Hearing will continue subject to the Tribunal Chairperson being satisfied that all Tribunal notification requirements have been carried out correctly.

  • In the event a student or his/her parent does not wish to contest the charge(s) of violation(s) of the discipline rules of the school's code of conduct for which a tribunal has been requested, the student and parent may voluntarily accept the consequences prescribed by the school by signing a Waiver of Disciplinary Tribunal Hearing form.
