Type A definition

Type A means a conversion School Bus constructed using a cutaway front-section, van body with roof and window conversion, or unitized construction vehicle, with a left side driver’s door. This definition includes two classifications: Type A-1, with a GVWR of 10,000 pounds or less; and Type A-2, with a GVWR equal to or greater than 10,001 pounds and less than or equal to 21,500 pounds.

Such period shall commence 15 days after the date of first delivery of the commercial to any dealer or dealer association, or 6 months after the commencement of the principal performer’s services in the commercial, whichever is earlier.
