CAISO Controlled Grid has the meaning set forth in the CAISO Tariff.
CAISO Controlled Grid is defined in Appendix A to the CAISO Tariff.
CAISO Controlled Grid means the system of transmission lines and associated facilities and entitlements of the participating transmission owners that have been placed under the CAISO’s operational control.

Once the Small Generating Facility has been authorized to commence parallel operation, the Interconnection Customer shall abide by all rules and procedures pertaining to the parallel operation of the Small Generating Facility in the CAISO Balancing Authority Area, including, but not limited to; 1) the rules and procedures concerning the operation of generation set forth in the CAISO Tariff for the CAISO Controlled Grid and; 2) the Operating Requirements set forth in Attachment 5 of this Agreement.
The Participating TO or the CAISO may interrupt interconnection service or curtail the output of the Small Generating Facility and temporarily disconnect the Small Generating Facility from the CAISO Controlled Grid when necessary for routine maintenance, construction, and repairs on the CAISO Controlled Grid or the Participating TO’s electric system.
During any forced outage, the Participating TO or the CAISO may suspend interconnection service to effect immediate repairs on the CAISO Controlled Grid or the Participating TO’s electric system.
The Interconnection Customer shall enter into an agreement with the owner of the Affected System and/or other affected owners of portions of the CAISO Controlled Grid, as applicable, in accordance with the SGIP.
The facilities owned and operated by the Participating TO and that have been placed under the CAISO’s Operational Control, which facilities form part of the CAISO Controlled Grid.

CAISO Controlled Grid. The system of transmission lines and associated facilities of the parties to a Transmission Control Agreement that have been placed under the CAISO’s Operational Control. Network Upgrades – Additions, modifications, and upgrades to the Participating TO's Transmission System required at or beyond the point at which the Small Generating Facility interconnects with the CAISO Controlled Grid to accommodate the interconnection of the Small Generating Facility with the CAISO Controlled Grid. Network Upgrades do not include Distribution Upgrades.

Confidential Information shall mean any confidential, proprietary or trade secret information of a plan, specification, pattern, procedure, design, device, list, concept, policy or compilation relating to the present or planned business of a Party, which is designated as confidential by the Party supplying the information, whether conveyed orally, electronically, in writing, through inspection, or otherwise, subject to Article 22.1.2. Default shall mean the failure of a Breaching Party to cure its Breach in accordance with Article 17 of this LGIA. Distribution System shall mean those non-CAISO-controlled transmission and distribution facilities owned by the Participating TO. Distribution Upgrades shall mean the additions, modifications, and upgrades to the Participating TO’s Distribution System. Distribution Upgrades do not include Interconnection Facilities. Effective Date shall mean the date on which this LGIA becomes effective upon execution by all Parties subject to acceptance by FERC, or if filed unexecuted, upon the date specified by FERC.
