UK IDTA definition

UK IDTA means the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (version B.1.0) issued by the UK Information Commissioner and laid before Parliament in accordance with s119A of the Data Protection Act 2018 on February 2, 2022 (as it is revised under its Section 18) to facilitate the international transfer of Personal Data in compliance with the UK GDPR.
UK IDTA means the UK International Data Transfer Agreement for the transfer of personal data to third countries as approved by the United Kingdom and set out in Appendix IV in its current form, but which may be amended and updated in accordance with this Section 5.

  • To the extent there is any conflict between this EEA/ UK Addendum and the UK IDTA in relation to the processing of UK Data, the terms of the UK IDTA will prevail.

  • Explain the legal gateway you are relying on to export the data e.g. adequacy decision, EU SCCs, UK IDTA.

  • If the EU SCCs or UK IDTA apply, then this section is in addition to Clause 5 paragraph f and Clause 12 paragraph 2 of the EU SCCs. Nothing in this section of the DPA varies or modifies any Standard Contractual Clauses or Data Protection Laws or affects any supervisory authority’s or data subject’s rights under the Standard Contractual Clauses or Data Protection Laws.

  • Without prejudice to the EU SCCs and UK IDTA Addendum, these additional terms set out the Parties’ interpretation of their obligations under specific terms of the EU SCCs and UK IDTA Addendum.

  • In the event that we choose to transfer personal data outside of the UK and EEA we will comply with the data protection legislation when doing so including by putting in place adequate contractual safeguards with the recipient (e.g. the European Commission’s standard data protection clauses and UK IDTA Addendum), to ensure the security of your personal data is maintained when it is processed by the third party.

UK IDTA means the International Data Transfer Addendum to the EEA Standard Contractual Clauses issued by the UK Information Commissioner under section 119A(1) Data Protection Act 2018. This CCPA Schedule applies in addition to any terms set forth in the body of the DPA (and is incorporated therein) when the CCPA applies to your use of Transaction Services or if Applicable Data Protection Law imposes a comparable requirement outlined under Schedule A. Capitalized terms not defined herein have the meaning assigned to them under the DPA. To the extent there are any conflicts between this CCPA Schedule and the DPA, this CCPA Schedule shall prevail.
