Uncovered or exposed part definition

Uncovered or exposed part means that part of an article of wearing ap- parel that might during normal wear be open to flame or other means of ig- nition. The outer surface of an under- garment is considered to be an uncov- ered or exposed part of an article of wearing apparel, and thus subject to the Act. Other examples of exposed parts of an article of wearing apparel subject to the Act include, but are not limited to:

  • Exposed person means any person wholly or partially in a danger zone;

The terms “United States,” “State” and “international organization” shall have the meanings set forth in Section 7701 of the Code or successor provisions.

  • Displaced Person means a person who, on account of the execution of the Project, has experienced or would experience direct economic and social impacts caused by: (i) the involuntary taking of land, resulting in: (A) relocation or loss of shelter; (B) loss of assets or access to assets; or (C) loss of income sources or means of livelihood, whether or not such person must move to another location; or (ii) the involuntary restriction of access to legally designated parks and protected areas, resulting in adverse impacts on the livelihood of such person; and “Displaced Persons” means, collectively, all such Displaced Persons.

  • Effectively owned or controlled means that a foreign government or any entity controlled by a foreign government has the power, either directly or indirectly, whether exercised or exercisable, to control the election, appointment, or tenure of the Offeror's officers or a majority of the Offeror's board of directors by any means, e.g., ownership, contract, or operation of law (or equivalent power for unincorporated organizations).

  • Constructively Own means ownership under the constructive ownership rules described in Exhibit C.
