Undergraduate coursework shall only count for column movement if the employee does not hold a B.A. degree.
Undergraduate coursework (lower division and upper division courses) taken after initial employment as an associate faculty member may be counted toward salary schedule advancement if it can be demonstrated that such coursework advances the instructional and non-instructional associate faculty member’s skills and/or ability in the teaching or service area.
Undergraduate coursework may be approved for salary schedule credit in unique circumstances by the Superintendent or designee.

Undergraduate coursework taken with the approval and included in the Professional Improvement Plan of the employee may be counted toward the current 100 hour requirement for professional improvement.
Undergraduate coursework recognized as credit hours towards a graduate degree is not accepted to meet this requirement.
