Uninsured Force Majeure definition

Uninsured Force Majeure means any event of Force Majeure, or portion thereof, not covered by the insurance required to be carried in connection with the Project.

Related to Uninsured Force Majeure

  • Force Majeure means an event beyond the control of the supplier and not involving the supplier’s fault or negligence and not foreseeable. Such events may include, but is not restricted to, acts of the purchaser in its sovereign capacity, wars or revolutions, fires, floods, epidemics, quarantine restrictions and freight embargoes.

  • Force Majeure Events means acts of war, domestic and/or international terrorism, civil riots or rebellions, quarantines, embargoes and other similar unusual governmental actions, extraordinary elements of nature or acts of God.

  • Force Majeure Delay means with respect to the Servicer, any cause or event which is beyond the control and not due to the negligence of the Servicer, which delays, prevents or prohibits such Person’s delivery of the reports required to be delivered or the performance of any other duty or obligation of the Servicer under the Indenture, as the case may be, including, without limitation, computer, electrical and mechanical failures, acts of God or the elements and fire; provided, that no such cause or event shall be deemed to be a Force Majeure Delay unless the Servicer shall have given the Indenture Trustee written notice thereof as soon as practicable after the beginning of such delay.

  • Force Majeure Event means an event beyond the affected party’s reasonable control, including (without limitation) accidents, severe weather events, acts of God, actions of any government agency, epidemic, pandemic, acts of terrorism, or the stability or availability of the Internet or a portion thereof.

  • Relevant Force Majeure Event means a Force Majeure Event in relation to which an Affected Party is claiming relief under this Clause 17; and

  • Force Majeure Period has the meaning specified in Section 13.1.

  • Catastrophic illness or “injury” means an illness or injury that is expected to incapacitate the employee for an extended period of time, or that incapacitates a member of the employee’s family which incapacity requires the employee to take time off from work for an extended period of time to care for that family member, and taking extended time off work creates a financial hardship for the employee because he or she has exhausted all of his or her sick leave and other paid time off.

  • Explosion means the sudden release of energy sufficient to cause pressure waves and/or projectiles that may cause structural and/or physical damage to the surrounding of the vehicle."

  • Structural damage means a covered building, regardless of the date of its construction, has experienced the following.

  • Force Majeure Report means a report to be given by the Affected Party to the other party following the giving of a Force Majeure Notice;

  • Disturbance Control Standard or “DCS” shall mean the reliability standard that sets the time limit following a disturbance within which a balancing authority must return its Area Control Error to within a specified range.

  • Health professional shortage area means that term as defined in section 332(a)(1) of subpart II of part C of title III of the public health service act, chapter 373, 90 Stat. 2270, 42 U.S.C. 254e.

  • Disease means an alteration in the state of the body or of some of its organs, interrupting or disturbing the performance of the functions, and causing or threatening pain and weakness or physical or mental disorder and certified by a Medical Practitioner.

  • Excused Outage means any disruption to or unavailability of Services caused by or due to (i) Scheduled Maintenance,

  • Act of God means a cataclysmic phenomenon of nature, including earthquake, flood or cyclone. Rain, snow, wind, high water or any other natural phenomenon, which might reasonably have been anticipated from historical records of the general locality of the City, shall be deemed not to be acts of God;

  • Earthquake insurance, if the Leased Property is currently, or at any time in the future, located within a major earthquake disaster area, in amount, and in such form and substance and with such limits and deductibles as are satisfactory to Landlord; and

  • Inaccessible means an Insured cannot reach his/her Destination by the original mode of transportation.

  • Event of Force Majeure means one of the following events:

  • Vandalism means destruction of or damage to a Project Asset deliberately

  • Substantial damage means damage of any origin sustained by a structure whereby the cost of restoring the structure to its before damaged condition would equal or exceed 50 percent of the market value of the structure before the damage occurred.
