Unit NQC definition

Unit NQC means the Net Qualifying Capacity established by the CAISO for the applicable Unit.

Unit NQC means the Net Qualifying Capacity set by the CAISO for the applicable Unit. The Parties agree that if the CAISO adjusts the Net Qualifying Capacity of a Unit after the Confirmation Effective Date, that for the period in which the adjustment is effective, the Unit NQC shall be deemed the lesser of (i) the Unit NQC as of the Confirmation Effective Date, or (ii) the CAISO-adjusted Net Qualifying Capacity.

Examples of Unit NQC in a sentence

• If a Unit described in Appendix B experiences such a reduction in Unit NQC, then Seller may, but is not obligated to, provide the applicable part of the Quantity from any Shown Unit.

• The extent to which Seller’s obligation to deliver is excused will equal (i) the Quantity multiplied by (ii) the total amount (in MW) by which the Unit NQC was reduced since the Initial Unit NQC Date, divided by (iii) the Unit NQC as of the Initial Unit NQC Date.

• Seller’s obligation to deliver any of the Quantity during the Delivery Period will be excused if a Unit described in Appendix B experiences a reduction in Unit NQC after the Initial Unit NQC Date for such Unit as determined by CAISO and Seller has provided notice of such reduction to Buyer by the Notification Deadline for the applicable Showing Month.
