A copy of the Hearing Panel’s recommendation shall be provided to the University Charter Schools Office and the Academy Board at the same time that the recommendation is sent to the University Board.
The Academy Board shall submit to the University Charter Schools Office an application for site expansion, in a form or manner determined by the University Charter Schools Office.
The University Charter Schools Office may disapprove the proposed agreement if it contains provisions in violation of this Contract or Applicable Law.
Upon receipt of the filed amendment, the Academy shall forward the filed amendment to the University Charter Schools Office.
The application for site expansion shall include all information requested by the University Charter Schools Office, including detailed information about the site, revised budget, renovation and site improvement costs, the Academy’s proposed operations at the site, and the information provided in Contract Schedules 7-8.
The Hearing Panel has the authority to accelerate the time line for revoking the Contract, provided that notice of the revocation hearing shall be provided to the University Charter Schools Office and the Academy Board at least five (5) days before the hearing.
Upon request, the Academy shall provide the University Charter Schools Office with a written report, along with supporting data, assessing the Academy’s progress toward achieving its goal(s).
The University Board may consider the Academy Board’s site expansion request following submission by the University Charter Schools Office of a positive recommendation.
The University Charter Schools Office may disapprove the proposed ESP Agreement submitted by the Academy if the ESP Agreement is contrary to this Contract or Applicable Law.
The Hearing Panel shall provide a copy of the Notice of Hearing to the University Charter Schools Office and the Academy Board at least ten (10) days before the hearing.
