US Letter of Credit Application definition

US Letter of Credit Application means the US Issuing Lender standard form letter of credit application for standby or commercial letters of credit which has been executed by the US Borrower, the applicable US Subsidiary Guarantor and accepted by the US Issuing Lender in connection with the issuance of a US Letter of Credit.
US Letter of Credit Application means an application and agreement for the issuance or amendment of a U.S. Letter of Credit in the form from time to time in use by a U.S. L/C Issuer and acceptable to the U.S. Borrower.
US Letter of Credit Application shall have the meaning assigned to such term in Section 2.24(b).

  • Such U.S. Letter of Credit Application may be sent by facsimile, by United States mail, by overnight courier, by electronic transmission using the system provided by such U.S. L/C Issuer, by personal delivery or by any other means acceptable to such U.S. L/C Issuer.

More Definitions of US Letter of Credit Application

US Letter of Credit Application means an application and agreement for the issuance or amendment of a US Letter of Credit in the form acceptable to the US Facility Borrower and the applicable US L/C Issuer, which may be in the standard form of such US L/C Issuer, such form to be modified as agreed to by the US Facility Borrower and such US L/C Issuer to conform the nature, scope and extent of the rights and obligations of the parties thereto set forth herein (and as generally reflected in Exhibit E-1, in the case of a standby US Letter of Credit, and Exhibit E-2, in the case of a commercial US Letter of Credit) and otherwise to conform the provisions thereof to the provisions hereof. Without prejudice to Section 2.04(k), the forms of the standby and commercial Letter of Credit applications attached hereto as Exhibit E-1 and E-2, as applicable, shall be deemed to satisfy the foregoing requirements as to conformity.
