Any grant funds reimbursed under this Agreement must be used in accordance with the rules implementing the provisions of VOCA, 34 U.S.C. § 20103, Crime Victim Assistance, 28 C.F.R. §§94.101 through 94.122, the federal government-wide grant rules as set forth in the 2 C.F.R. § 200, and the DOJ, Office of Justice Programs, DOJ Financial Guide, and any other regulations or guidelines currently or subsequently required by the DOJ and state or federal laws.
Upon request, the Provider will provide the OAG with financial records and internal documentation regarding the collection and disposition of program income, including, but not limited to, Victim Compensation, insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, restitution and direct client fees.
Nonetheless, due to the government’s criminal investigation and prosecution of Xx. Xxxxxx, the Company believes it has incurred certain fees and costs that are recoverable as restitution under the Mandatory Victim Restitution Act, 18 U.S.C. § 3663A, and the Victim and Witness Protection Act, 18 U.S.C. § 3663.
