Voluntary Salary Deferral Agreement definition

Voluntary Salary Deferral Agreement means the agreement between a Participant and the Employer to defer receipt by the Participant of Compensation not yet paid or otherwise made available. Such agreement shall state the Elective Deferral amount to be withheld from a Participant’s Compensation and shall become effective no earlier than the first day of the month following execution of such agreement. Once executed, the Voluntary Salary Deferral Agreement shall be legally binding and irrevocable with regard to amounts paid or otherwise made available while the agreement is in effect.

  • Compensation Deferral means the amount or amounts of the Director's Compensation deferred under the provisions of Section 3 of this Agreement.

  • Non-Elective Contribution means the Employer contributions to the Plan excluding, however, contributions made pursuant to the Participant's deferral election provided for in Section 4.2 and any Qualified Non-Elective Contribution used in the "Actual Deferral Percentage" tests.

  • Deferral Election means the Participant’s election under Section 3.1 to defer all or a portion of his or her Compensation.
