Xxxx of Tribal Court definition

Xxxx of Tribal Court means an Indian child who is so considered by a tribal court. The xxxx of a tribal court is not necessarily the same as a "state xxxx" in which a child is free for adoption. An Indian child may be a xxxx of a tribal court without having parental rights terminated.

Sec. 1911.

  • Appellate court means the Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, or both, as appropriate.

  • New York Court means the courts of the State of New York or the United States District Court for the Southern District of the State of New York.

  • District Court means the United States District Court for the District of Delaware.

  • Courts means the Ontario Court, the Quebec Court and the BC Court.
