Yield Price definition

Yield Price means the price, calculated on the Business Day preceding the Make-Whole Redemption Date of the Instruments (the “Yield Determination Date”) equal to the net present value of all scheduled payments of outstanding principal and interest on the Instruments to be redeemed (not including any portion of the payment of interest accrued as of the Make-Whole Redemption Date) from the Make-Whole Redemption Date of the Instruments to be redeemed to the Par Call Date specified in the Final Terms (and assuming, for this purpose that the Instruments are scheduled to mature on the Par Call Date) using as a discount rate equal to the Government Yield plus any applicable Redemption Margin specified in the Final Terms.
Yield Price means the price, calculated on the Business Day preceding the redemption date of the Fixed Rate Notes (the “Yield Determination Date”) equal to the net present value of all scheduled payments of outstanding principal and interest on the Fixed Rate Notes to be redeemed (not including any portion of the payment of interest accrued as of the redemption date) from the redemption date of the Fixed Rate Notes to be redeemed to the Par Call Date specified in the relevant Final Terms (and assuming, for this purpose, that the Fixed Rate Notes are scheduled to mature on the Par Call Date) using as a discount rate equal to the Government Yield plus any applicable Redemption Margin specified in the relevant Final Terms;

Examples of Yield Price in a sentence

  • The Canada Yield Price means, in respect of a 2023 Debenture, a price equal to which, if the 2023 Debenture were to be issued at such price on the redemption date, would provide a yield thereon from the redemption date to its maturity date equal to 62.5 basis points above the yield that a non-callable Government of Canada bond, trading at par, would carry if issued on the redemption date with a maturity date of November 30, 2023.

  • Redemption by Calloway At its option, Calloway may redeem the Debentures, in whole or in part, at any time and from time to time, on payment of a redemption price equal to the greater of (i) the Canada Yield Price and (ii) par, together in each case with accrued and unpaid interest to the date fixed for redemption.
