CMU Service means the Central Moneymarkets Unit Service, operated by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority;
911 Service means a universal telephone number which gives the public direct access to the Public Safety Answering Point (“PSAP”). Basic 911 service collects 911 calls from one or more local exchange switches that serve a geographic area. The calls are then sent to the correct authority designated to receive such calls.
air service means a flight or a series of flights carrying passengers, cargo and/or mail for remuneration and/or hire;
Customer Service means Company’s customer service telephone service department or representatives.
Online Service means our on-line system for managing the electronic transmission of information between us and Providers;
Internet service means a service that enables users to access proprietary and other content,
Cloud Service means any distinct, subscription-based, hosted, supported and operated on-demand solution provided by SAP under an Order Form.
Internet Service Provider (ISP) is an Enhanced Service Provider that provides Internet Services, and is defined in paragraph 341 of the FCC’s First Report and Order in CC Docket No. 97-158.
Network Service means a Service provided by means of the Network.
Education service provider means an education management organization, school
Prior service means service rendered prior to becoming a member of the Retirement System.
Broadband service means a retail service capable of transmitting data over an access line at a rate greater than 200 kilobits per second.
800 service means a telecommunications service that:
Internet Service Provider (ISP) means an Enhanced Service Provider (ESP) that provides Internet Services.
Police Service means the South African Police Service established by section 5(1) of the South African Police Service Act;
School service means a website, mobile application, or online service that (i) is designed and marketed solely for use in elementary or secondary schools; (ii) is used at the direction of teachers or other employees at elementary or secondary schools; and (iii) collects and maintains, uses, or shares student personal information. "School service" does not include a website, mobile application, or online service that is designed and marketed for use by individuals or entities generally, even if it is also marketed for use in elementary or secondary schools.
Health Service Provider means a body corporate with perpetual succession established under subsection 32(1)(b) of the Health Services Act 2016 (WA).
Human service zone means a county or consolidated group of counties administering human services within a designated area in accordance with an agreement or plan approved by the department.
Interactive computer service means any information service, system, or access software provider that provides or enables computer access by multiple users to a computer server, including a service or system that provides access to the Internet and such systems operated or services offered by government, libraries, or educational institutions.
flight information service means a service provided for the purpose of giving advice and information useful for the safe and efficient conduct of flights;
broadcasting service means a radiocommunication service in which the transmissions are intended for direct reception by the general public. This service may include sound transmissions, television transmissions or other types of transmission.
internet access service means a publicly available electronic communications service that provides access to the internet, and thereby connectivity to virtually all end points of the internet, irrespective of the network technology and terminal equipment used.
Wireless service provider means a person that provides wireless service to the public.
energy service provider means a natural or legal person who delivers energy services or other energy efficiency improvement measures in a final customer’s facility or premises;
Generation Service means the sale of electricity, including ancillary services such as the provision of reserves, to a Customer by a Competitive Supplier.
900 service means an inbound toll telecommunications service purchased by a subscriber that allows the subscriber's customers to call in to the subscriber's prerecorded announcement or live service, and which is typically marketed under the name "900 service" and any subsequent numbers designated by the federal communications commission. "900 service" does not include the charge for collection services provided by the seller of the telecommunications service to the subscriber, or services or products sold by the subscriber to the subscriber's customer.
