Registering as an Individual/on behalf of a Company. (a) When registering to bid either as an individual or on behalf of an entity, you accept that in making a bid, you are accepting personal liability to pay the purchase price (as defined in paragraph F(1)(b) below), unless it has been explicitly agreed in writing with Christie’s before the commencement of the sale that the bidder is acting as agent on behalf of an identified third party acceptable to Christie’s and Christie’s will only look to the principal for payment. In order to register to bid, you are required to supply the information requested, including a valid debit or credit card in your name or other accepted payment information.
