Deadlines. The vehicle must be returned to the office where it was picked up by the date and time stated in the “return” section as the final deadline. If the vehicle is returned later, the cost for the following day will also be charged. In the event of early return, the cost of the unused days booked will be charged to compensate for expenses and loss of earnings. The vehicle may only be taken outside Italy with written authorisation. The authorisation will include the vehicle's itinerary and the conditions and/or exceptions in addition to this contract. The lessee may only extend the rental beyond the deadline previously agreed after having requested and obtained express written authorisation (including by e-mail or telephone messaging) from the lessor and having paid a surcharge as per Art. 10. In the event of late return without authorisation, a rate of 50% extra will be charged for each unauthorised day, plus any costs or charges resulting from the said delay. The lessee authorises Narder Autoveicoli sas to retake physical possession of the vehicle in any way without notice, and to charge the lessee for any costs required for recovery, including legal expenses. The lessee is excluded from requesting amounts in cash as compensation for damage, indemnity or for any other reason. If the vehicle is located on the lessee’s private property, the lessee authorises the lessor to access the said property and to retake possession of the vehicle using copied keys. The lessee will be required to return the keys in their possession; otherwise, they must repay the costs and expenses for the duplication of the key. In the event of recovery of the vehicle by the lessor, the lessee agrees to costs of recovery set at €200.00 plus €2.00 per kilometre, calculated between the distance of the recovered vehicle and the lessor’s premises. These amounts are net of VAT.
