Common use of 10G Clause in Contracts

10G. 06 All hours worked on Saturday, Sundays and on the following designated holidays shall be paid at double (2x) the normal hourly rate of pay. New Year's Day, Good Friday, Heritage Day, Victoria Day, August Civic Holiday, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day, Remembrance Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and Canada Day, National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. If the Federal or Provincial Government declares a new Statutory Holiday, it shall be observed as an unpaid holiday.
