RESPONSIBILITIES OF FACULTY. Member’s responsibilities encompass teaching; scholarship; and service to the University, the profession and the community. There shall be a balance of these responsibilities as appropriate to the member’s discipline. In carrying out these responsibilities, Faculty Members shall demonstrate performance appropriate to their rank, and evidence of continuing scholarly growth and professional development in their areas of responsibility.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF FACULTY. All Full-time, adjunct, dual credit faculty must follow the job description and requirements of TJC faculty as designated in TJC Faculty Handbook, including, but not limited to the following aspects: a. ENROLLMENT REPORTING, VERIFICATION AND ATTENDANCE: All full-time, adjunct, dual-credit faculty are required to report enrollment according to the TJC Academic Calendar deadline. Enrollment reporting completes verification of rosters for the College. Only students on the College roster will receive college credit for the course. Faculty must verify rosters between the High School and the College. Dual credit faculty must keep accurate records of attendance, including last date of attendance for students who receive a grade of F.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF FACULTY. Section 1 The primary responsibilities for Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Section 2 The term “teaching,” as used in this Agreement, shall include the following: (a) A classroom course load of 24 units per academic year, which shall generally be 12 units in the fall semester and 12 units in the spring semester, unless determined otherwise by the University. For purposes of determining the course load, undergraduate courses generally shall be three (3) units. Non-overload graduate courses generally shall be at least four (4) units, but the University shall have the discretion to determine that certain graduate courses shall be greater than four (4) units, provided that if a graduate course is at least four (4) credits for students, the number of units for the course shall be equal to the number of credits. (b) A minimum of four (4) office hours per week online and/or on-ground during the fall and spring semesters for the purpose of being available to students. Office hours shall be posted and submitted to the department chairs. Faculty members are expected to be available to work with students during scheduled office hours. Faculty members will also be available to work with students outside their office hours by e-mail or in an alternative student- centered format. Except in the case of an emergency or other unforeseen circumstance, faculty who are unable to meet during scheduled office hours must (1) schedule alternative office hours and (2) notify their students and department chairs via e-mail of the changes in office hours. Faculty who are assigned to teach solely in the online modality may hold their office hours online consistent with the provisions of this Section. (c) Academic advisement of undergraduate students and, where appropriate, graduate students. Advising responsibilities involve mentoring students with respect to academic and career development. Advisees are assigned as evenly as possible among the departmental faculty taking into account the size of the department/discipline and number of faculty members in the department/discipline. (d) Curriculum development, including creating courses and programs, sequencing courses, and modifying courses and programs when necessary in light of assessment results.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF FACULTY. Section I The primary responsibilities for Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors and Visiting Professors shall be teaching, service and scholarship. The primary responsibility for non-tenure track faculty (Master Teaching Artists, Senior Teaching Artists, Teaching Artists and Lecturers) shall be teaching. Non-tenure track faculty may, but are not expected to, pa11icipate in service work. Non-tenure track faculty may, but are not expected to, engage in scholarship.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF FACULTY a. The visiting faculty will comply with immigration regulations of the host country. b. Exchange faculty shall report to the J-visa Coordinator and the host institution coordinator before the exchange begins.

  • Responsibilities of Client a. Client shall exclusively retain the services of Consultant to perform the Scope of Work, in accordance with, and subject to, the other provisions of this Agreement. b. Client shall provide access for Consultant and its subcontractors to the Site, and shall enter into access agreements with other third party property owners, as necessary for Consultant to complete the performance of the Scope of Work. c. Client shall, as necessary to complete the Scope of Work: (i) cooperate and assist Consultant with the preparation and submittal, to PADEP, PAUSTIF, local governing authorities and others, of all information and documents including, without limitation, correspondence, notices, reports, data submittals, restrictive covenants, engineering and institutional controls, and the like; and (ii) implement and maintain any engineering or institutional controls. d. Client shall transmit to Consultant copies of all documentation, correspondence, reports, and the like, sent or received by Client, regarding the Scope of Work at the Site. e. Client shall make a good faith effort to minimize any and all interference with the progress of the Scope of Work if the Site is remodeled or otherwise modified. Client shall also make a good faith effort to place this condition on third parties that are not a party to this Agreement including, but not limited to, current owners, future owners, current operators, future operators, current lessees and future lessees.

  • Responsibilities of Both Parties 6.1 The CLEC providing the circuit between CLEC’s office and SBC-12STATE’s office shall make such circuits available for use in connection with the DA services covered herein. When the total traffic exceeds the capability of the existing circuits, additional circuits will be provided by the CLEC. 6.2 Where applicable, if additional ADAX cards and ASN Routers (with sync and token ring cards) are necessary, they will be provided by SBC-12STATE, and CLEC will reimburse SBC-12STATE for the cost, plus Engineering, Furnish and Installation.

  • Responsibilities of Contractor A. The Contractor shall perform all work on the described project as required by the Contract documents. The work to be performed includes the labor and services necessary to produce such replacement, and all materials, supplies, tools, transportation, equipment, and machinery required for replacement. B. This project bid includes all materials, labor and equipment to complete the reconstruction and resurfacing of streets as outlined in the Project Manual for WWREYN - XXXXXXXX SANITARY SEWER - PHASE 1 dated March 25th, 2021 as outlined in Attachment A.

  • RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE UNIVERSITY The UNIVERSITY shall designate in writing a faculty member to coordinate with a designee of the FIELDWORK SITE.
