5Executive Committee. The chairman is assisted by a deputy elected by the General Assembly and by a representative of Inria to form an executive committee. The executive committee is responsible for representing the General Assembly for any day to day matter requiring timely action. It ensures the consortium can react promptly to any unforeseen event or solicitation for the best interest of its members and conduct negotiations on its behalf. The chairman will report on the activities of the executive committee in a timely manner to the General Assembly, that is the authoritative decision making body unless it has delegated its authority for specific actions.

  • Executive Committee (A) The Executive Committee shall be composed of not more than nine members who shall be selected by the Board of Directors from its own members and who shall hold office during the pleasure of the Board.
