Absence Due to Attack of Injury. Whenever an employee is absent from employment as a result of physical attack or injury sustained in the course of employment, including travel between work sites and that qualify for Industrial Accident and Xxxxxxx’x Compensation coverage, a pro-rata portion of sick leave may be used, which when added to the above compensation shall equal, but not exceed, the employee’s normal salary.
