Common use of Academic Employment Clause in Contracts

Academic Employment. Year-for-year salary credit will be granted for any previous teaching experience or academic employment which relates directly to the employment (i.e., counselor, librarian, etc.) In order to qualify, the employment must meet one of the following criteria: 11.1.1.1 Contract employment for at least fifty percent (50%) of a full school year or one (1) full semester; 11.1.1.2 Long-term temporary employment on a one hundred percent (100%) assignment for at least one (1) full semester or at least a fifty percent (50%) assignment for two (2) consecutive semesters; 11.1.1.3 Temporary employment equaling at least four hundred and five (405) hours during a fiscal year.
