Common use of Academic Extra Compensation and Hours Clause in Contracts

Academic Extra Compensation and Hours. a. Each employee who receives academic extra compensation under Appendix C.5.a shall normally work an eight-and-one-half (8 1/2) hour- day with one (1) hour for lunch (8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.). The above times may be altered by mutual agreement between the employee and his/her immediate supervisor provided the total working time does not exceed seven and one-half (7 1/2) hours. b. Each employee who receives academic extra compensation under Appendix C.5.b‒d. secondary counselor/elementary guidance specialist, c.) team leader, and d.) school psychologist), occupational therapist, and physical therapist shall normally work an eight (8) hour-day with one (1) hour for lunch.
