Common use of Access and Equipment Use Clause in Contracts

Access and Equipment Use. Duly authorized representatives of the Association and their respective affiliates shall be permitted to transact official Association business on school property outside of the scheduled or duty free lunch, provided that this shall not interfere with or interrupt normal school operations. Likewise, the Association shall have the right to use school facilities and equipment. The Association shall pay only for the actual costs incident to such use and any damage to the equipment proven to have been caused by a member or members of the bargaining unit while using the equipment for Association business. The Association may be charged a reasonable rental fee for the use of District equipment, provided, however, that the rate shall be the same as the rate charged for use by the General Public.
