The test gauge shall be kept perpendicular to that direction of motion. 5.7.3.3. The test gauge shall be in the form of a thin plate having a size of 60 x 40 cm with corners radiused by 20 cm. However, in the case of an emergency window in the rear face of the vehicle, the test gauge may alternatively have a size of 140 cm x 35 cm with corners radiused by 17.5 cm.
