Access to Regulations A. Employees have the right to review GSA regulations and directives concerning personnel policies and practices and matters affecting working conditions. such regulations may normally be reviewed in the personnel office during regular Working hours provided an appointment has been made with the appropriate official. Reasonable requests for a copy of documents which are immediately available will normally be granted. B. Permission must be obtained from the immediate supervisor and arrangements made with the personnel office before the employee leaves the work station. normally an employee will be released as soon as possible when requested unless work conditions require his/her presence on the job. When release cannot be accomplished immediately, the employee will be released as soon as possible. An employee not on duty need only make arrangements with the personnel office. C. Employees who do not have access to the personnel office may make arrangements with their supervisors to review regulations at their facility. Copies of personnel regulations not locally available will generally be provided by the personnel office. D. Upon request, the personnel office will help an employee to identify and find a specific law, rule, regulation, or personnel policy. A copy of these documents will be furnished upon request, to the extent reasonable.
