Common use of Accommodation for Forced Employees Clause in Contracts

Accommodation for Forced Employees. At points where bunkhouse arrangements are provided, such employees will be permitted, if accommodation is required, to stay in the bunkhouse. The company and the two unions will co-operate to the fullest extent to try to accommodate such employees. This co-operation includes the following: i. The use of a bed by another employee when the employee regularly using the bed is out of their run. ii. The supplying of clean linen by the company for changing beds when used as above. iii. The possible use of rooms normally assigned to one craft or the other.
