Common use of Accrued Overtime Clause in Contracts

Accrued Overtime. In the case of an employee's death, the City shall pay the employee's beneficiary the sums set forth in items 1 through 3 above provided, however, that the employee must have designated a beneficiary on a form specified by the City Manager. If the form specified by the City Manager has not been completed and returned to the finance director, terminal pay shall be paid to the estate of the employee. Terminal pay shall be paid to an employee only upon submission by the employee of all city-owned property in the employee's possession, including but not limited to, keys, badges and credit cards.
