Accrued Vacation Credits. During unpaid leaves of absence for disability or other reasons, the employee may elect to use accrued vacation credits. Requests for leaves without pay shall not be unreasonably denied. In order to avoid misunderstandings, all leaves without pay must be in writing to be effective.
