ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF UNIT RESPONSIBILITIES. The parties to this Agreement recognize that two separate bargaining units composed, respectively, of faculty and administrators exist at each State University. From time to time, consistent with academic tradition and a unit member’s job description, persons holding administrative positions may be required or permitted to teach. In like fashion, persons holding faculty positions may be required or permitted to perform duties which are administrative in nature. Subject to the foregoing, the parties recognize the general desirability of assigning administrative responsibilities to persons employed in administrative positions. The parties acknowledge that the Code of Responsibilities that is appended to this Agreement as its Appendix L. No rights, privileges or entitlements accorded any member of the bargaining unit by any provision of this Agreement shall be limited, diminished or impaired by any requirement, obligation or standard that is imposed by the Code of Responsibilities.

  • Assignment of Responsibilities The parties understand that, while hourly rate may be used in statistical calculations or to report the fulfillment of duties to governing agencies, graduate assistants who are employed as research, teaching or instructional assistants (Class codes 9181, 9182, 9183, 9184, 9550) are salaried employees. Graduate assistants employed in Class code 9185 are appointed as non-exempt hourly employees and will need to complete a time sheet. Time clocks shall not be used to record work hours.

  • Acknowledgement of Services and Responsibility of the Manager The Resident acknowledges that neither the Manager nor the Institution stands in loco parentis with respect to the Resident. The Residence provides living accommodations for independent students who are to be responsible and accountable for their personal needs and their interactions with their fellow residents as opposed to residential care. The Manager is responsible for the maintenance and operation of the residence. The Manager, in consultation with the Institution, may from time to time, in its sole and unfettered discretion, establish and/or amend policies, protocols and guidelines to uphold and ensure compliance with the standards set forth by the Manager, all of which will constitute part of the Residence Community Living Standards or Institution Code of Conduct, as appropriate. The Resident hereby acknowledges and agrees that they are solely responsible for their compliance with / review of such policies, protocols and guidelines (as may be created, amended, revised or restated by the Manager) found at xxx.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xx.

  • Member Responsibilities The Member’s responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to:

  • Engineer Responsibilities No subcontract relieves the Engineer of any responsibilities under this contract.

  • Management Responsibility No Limited Partner, as such, shall take part in the management of the business or transact any business for the Partnership.

  • Other Responsibilities The Responsibility factors also take account of any responsibility the jobholder may have through the provision of advice and guidance on policies and procedures, research or the adaptation or development of existing or new policies and procedures. An assessment tool has been developed to help ensure that advisory, policy and similar ‘hands off’ responsibilities, such as research or democratic services, are correctly measured and allocated to the appropriate Responsibility factor. It is recommended that jobs are first evaluated on their ‘hands on’ responsibilities under each Responsibility factor and that an assessment is then made of the level of advisory/policy responsibilities and the factor to which it should be allocated.

  • Vendor Responsibilities Note: NO EXCEPTIONS OR REVISIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED IN C-M, O-S, V-W. Indemnification

  • Termination of Contractor’s Responsibilities This Agreement will be considered complete when all work has been completed and accepted by the COUNTY and all warranty periods have expired. The CONTRACTOR will then be released from further obligation except as set forth in this Agreement.

  • Management Responsibilities The exclusive representative recognizes the right and obligation of the School Board to efficiently manage and conduct the operation of the School District within its legal limitations and with its primary obligation to provide educational opportunity for the students of the School District.

  • Teacher Responsibility The Board and the Association acknowledge that a teacher's primary responsibility is to teach and that support personnel and volunteers shall be used to assist with and reduce teachers' non-instructional responsibilities. The Board and the Association agree that, in order to encourage the efficient use of time and to conserve paper, paperwork required of teachers should be kept to a minimum.
