Common use of Acting Status Pay Provisions Clause in Contracts

Acting Status Pay Provisions. When an employee is formally assigned to serve in an acting capacity, the employee will receive acting pay for all hours worked, and acting pay shall continue until the assignment is terminated. In no case shall acting status be extended beyond five (5) working days without approval from the City Manager or his designee. All formal acting pay assignments shall be in writing with a copy given to the employee.
