The recipient shall affix the applicable copyright notices of 17 U.S.C. §401 or 402 and an acknowledgement of government sponsorship (including award number) to any work first produced under an award. Use of DHS Seal, Logo, and Flags. All recipients of financial assistance must obtain DHS’ approval prior to using the DHS seal(s), logos, crests or reproductions of flags or likenesses of DHS agency officials, including use of the United States Coast Guard seal, logo, crests or reproductions of flags or likenesses of Coast Guard officials.
