Activity Risks. The Activity, described above in Article 1, may expose Volunteer to certain dangers, risks or hazards, including (but not limited to) hazardous environmental conditions (i.e. ice, snow, walking hazards, etc.), potentially aggressive interactions with the general public, and those caused by the actions of others such as the SFLA’s staff, participants, volunteers, and other volunteers. Volunteer understands that the risks and dangers of the Activity may be caused by the negligence of Volunteer in the Activity, the negligence of others including SFLA, accidents, breaches of contract, forces of nature, human hostilities, or other causes. Volunteer agrees to assume the responsibility and liability related to such risks. Volunteer understands that SFLA does not require Volunteer to participate in the Activity, but Volunteer desires to so despite the possible dangers, risks and hazards set forth above, and does so with informed consent. Volunteer understands that s/he has the right to leave the Activity at any given time if s/he feels unsafe. Volunteer is responsible for communicating with the leader to set out a plan to leave and safely return home in cases where Volunteer chooses to leave the Activity.

Activity Risks. I understand and accept the dangers and risks which are inherent in my Child’s participation in all of XX XXX Camp’s activities on or off its premises including, but not limited to, those risks that are associated with or can arise from playing, practicing and participating in the sport of lacrosse in the summer time in Asheville, North Carolina.

  • Currency Risks The profit or loss in transactions in foreign currency-denominated contracts (whether they are traded in your own or another jurisdiction) will be affected by fluctuations in currency rates where there is a need to convert from the currency denomination of the contract to another currency.

  • Weapons (1) If the Contractor requests that its personnel performing in the USCENTCOM AOR be authorized to carry weapons for individual self-defense, the request shall be made through the Contracting Officer to the Combatant Commander, in accordance with DoD Instruction 3020.41. The Combatant Commander will determine whether to authorize in-theater contractor personnel to carry weapons and what weapons and ammunition will be allowed.

  • Builder’s Risk Insurance Contractor shall provide a Builder’s Risk Policy to be made payable to the Owner and Contractor, as their interests may appear. Seller shall be responsible for and bear the risk of any loss or damage to the goods until received by the Buyer.

  • Vandalism Or Malicious Mischief This peril does not include loss to property on the "residence premises", and any ensuing loss caused by any intentional and wrongful act com- mitted in the course of the vandalism or malicious mischief, if the dwelling has been vacant for more than 60 consecutive days immediately before the loss. A dwelling being constructed is not consid- ered vacant.

  • Inoculations The Employer agrees to pay full expenses for inoculation or immunization shots for the employee and for members of an employee’s household when such becomes necessary as a result of said employee’s exposure to contagious diseases (including AIDS, tuberculosis and hepatitis) where said officer has been exposed to said disease in the line of duty.

  • War We do not Cover an illness, treatment or medical condition due to war, declared or undeclared.
