Additional Layoff Rights. An employee on layoff status shall have the following rights: COBRA will be offered under the law within the proper time-period. The right to be notified by mail of all postings while on the recall list for bargaining unit positions as long as employee provides Board with his/her current address. Such notification shall also be placed on the Board’s website. The unchallenged right to unemployment compensation benefits.

  • Additional Leaves Should an employee require additional time to care for a gravely ill family member, additional leaves may be granted beyond the eight (8) week period specified above. Such additional leave shall be pursuant to Article 13.02

  • Additional Leave Any further leave granted beyond the normal thirty-seven (37) week period, or the forty-two (42) week period for special circumstances, will be unpaid leave without benefits.
