Common use of Additional Load Compensation Clause in Contracts

Additional Load Compensation. If a junior high or high school teacher is required to teach during their preparation period for the same position for ten (10) consecutive days or more, the Board shall pay the teacher at a rate of twenty seven dollars (27.00) per hour, in 15-minute increments. Increments will be rounded up for any portion of a 15- minute increment. It is noted that in such case the teacher shall forfeit their daily preparation period.
