Additional Power and Responsibilities of the Governing Board. In addition to the powers and responsibilities set forth in this Article IV of this Agreement, the Governing Board shall have, without limitation, the following powers and responsibilities: (i) enter into contracts deemed appropriate to assist in the management of this Agreement, (ii) delegate the daily responsibilities of making investment decisions pursuant to this Agreement and the Investment Guidelines to the Chief Investment Officer, as provided in Article VIII of this Agreement, and (iii) monitor compliance with the provisions of the Investment Guidelines, monitor compliance with the maturity limitations of Permitted Investments established in the Investment Guidelines and in the Act, and monitor compliance with the reporting and disclosure requirements set forth in this Agreement and in the Act, as to those Persons charged in this Agreement or any Third Party Agreement with such compliance.
