ADVANCED STAGE CANCER. If this Policy becomes terminated by a claim under Clause 2.2. We shall deduct any Premium due and any Premium unpaid for the full Policy Year in which advanced stage cancer occurs from the Policy moneys payable under this Policy.

ADVANCED STAGE CANCER. Any malignant tumour positively diagnosed with histological confirmation and characterized by the uncontrolled growth of malignant cells and invasion of tissue. The term malignant tumour includes leukemia, lymphoma and sarcoma. For the above definition, the following are not covered: a) All cancers which are histologically classified as any of the following: (i) pre-malignant; (ii) non-invasive; (iii) carcinoma in situ; (iv) having borderline malignancy; (v) having malignant potential; b) All tumours of the prostate histologically classified as T1N0M0 (TNM classification); c) All tumours of the thyroid histologically classified as T1N0M0 (TNM classification); d) All tumours of the urinary bladder histologically classified as T1N0M0 (TNM classification); e) Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia less than RAI Stage 3; f) All cancers in the presence of HIV; or g) Any skin cancer other than malignant melanoma It is a specific condition of this Benefit that notwithstanding the exclusion of pre-existing conditions, this Benefit will not be payable for any Insured who had been diagnosed as a Cancer patient and/or is receiving Cancer Treatment prior to the Issue Date or the date of Reinstatement, whichever is later.

  • SPECIALIZED JOB CLASSES Where there is a particular specialized job class in which the pay rate is below the local market value assessment of that job class, the parties may use existing means under the collective agreement to adjust compensation for that job class.

  • Human Leukocyte Antigen Testing This plan covers human leukocyte antigen testing for A, B, and DR antigens once per member per lifetime to establish a member’s bone marrow transplantation donor suitability in accordance with R.I. General Law §27-20-36. The testing must be performed in a facility that is: • accredited by the American Association of Blood Banks or its successors; and • licensed under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act as it may be amended from time to time. At the time of testing, the person being tested must complete and sign an informed consent form that also authorizes the results of the test to be used for participation in the National Marrow Donor program.

  • Vaccination and Inoculation ‌ (a) The Employer agrees to take all reasonable precautions to limit the spread of infectious diseases among employees, including in-service seminars for employees. Where the Employer or Occupational Health and Safety Committee identifies high risk areas which expose employees to infectious or communicable diseases for which there are protective immunizations available, such immunizations shall be provided at no cost to the employee. The Committee may consult with the Medical Health Officer. Where the Medical Health Officer identifies such a risk, the immunization shall also be provided at no cost. The Employer shall provide Hepatitis B vaccine, free of charge, to those employees who may be exposed to bodily fluids or other sources of infection. (b) An employee may be required by the Employer, at the request of and at the expense of the Employer, to take a medical examination by a physician of the employee's choice. Employees may be required to take skin tests, x-ray examination, vaccination, and other immunization (with the exception of a rubella vaccination when the employee is of the opinion that a pregnancy is possible), unless the employee's physician has advised in writing that such a procedure may have an adverse effect on the employee's health.

  • When Can I Make Contributions You may make annual contributions to your Xxxx XXX any time up to and including the due date for filing your tax return for the year, not including extensions. You may continue to make regular contributions to your Xxxx XXX even after you attain RMD age. In addition, rollover contributions and transfers (to the extent permitted as discussed below) may be made at any time, regardless of your age.

  • Hepatitis B Vaccine Where the Hospital identifies high risk areas where employees are exposed to Hepatitis B, the Hospital will provide, at no cost to the employees, a Hepatitis B vaccine.

  • Distribution Upgrades The Connecting Transmission Owner shall design, procure, construct, install, and own the Distribution Upgrades described in Attachment 6 of this Agreement. If the Connecting Transmission Owner and the Interconnection Customer agree, the Interconnection Customer may construct Distribution Upgrades. The actual cost of the Distribution Upgrades, including overheads, shall be directly assigned to the Interconnection Customer. The Interconnection Customer shall be responsible for its share of all reasonable expenses, including overheads, associated with owning, operating, maintaining, repairing, and replacing the Distribution Upgrades, as set forth in Attachment 6 to this Agreement.

  • Sale Treatment The Company has determined that the disposition of the Mortgage Loans pursuant to this Agreement will be afforded sale treatment for accounting and tax purposes;

  • Seniority Verification Process i. The new school district shall provide the employee with the necessary verification form at the time the employee achieves continuing contract status. ii. The employee must initiate the seniority verification process and forward the necessary verification forms to the previous school district(s) within ninety (90) days of receiving a continuing appointment in the new school district. iii. The previous school district(s) shall make every reasonable effort to retrieve and verify the seniority credits which the employee seeks to port.

  • Validation Mechanism To be eligible for articulation, the student must show evidence of their CompTIA A+ certification and it must have been issued within three (3) years prior to their enrollment in the program.

  • PRODUCTS MANUFACTURED IN PUBLIC INSTITUTIONS Bids offering Products that are manufactured or produced in public institutions will be rejected.
