Advancement from Level A to Level B. Bargaining unit faculty members appointed to Educator Level A may apply for advancement to Educator Level B after at least one appointment as Educator Level A. Bargaining unit faculty members seeking appointment to Educator Level B must have at least three (3) years of full-time teaching experience, which may be a combination of Xxxx School and/or other comparable teaching experience in a similar role, as determined by the Employer. Bargaining unit faculty members who do not qualify for advancement to Educator Level B by the end of their fifth (5) consecutive appointment as an Educator Level A shall not be reappointed, and notice will be provided in accordance with Section II.3.a. of this Article.

  • Staffing Levels To the extent legislative appropriations and PIN authorizations allow, safe staffing levels will be maintained in all institutions where employees have patient, client, inmate or student care responsibilities. In July of each year, the Secretary or Deputy Secretary of each agency will, upon request, meet with the Union, to hear the employees’ views regarding staffing levels. In August of each year, the Secretary or Deputy Secretary of Budget and Management will, upon request, meet with the Union to hear the employees’ views regarding the Governor’s budget request.
