AFSCME Grievance Committee. AFSCME Grievance Committee members traveling fifty (50) miles or more to quarterly Grievance Committee meetings shall be entitled to leave without loss of pay or benefits for actual and necessary travel time. The State agrees to provide up to four (4) days leave of absence without loss of pay or benefits for each of three (3) Grievance Committee members from the Institutional Services Unit. Such leave shall not be withheld unless operational needs so require and shall not be arbitrarily denied.
