Common use of AFSCME PEOPLE Deduction Clause in Contracts

AFSCME PEOPLE Deduction. 32.1 The Employer agrees to deduct from the wages of an employee who is a member of the Union a PEOPLE deduction as provided for in a written authorization, in the amount of $100, $250, or $500 per year. Such authorization must be executed by the employee and may be revoked by the employee at any time by giving written notice to both the Employer and the Union President. The Employer agrees to remit any deductions made pursuant to this provision promptly to the Union to an address provided by the Union President.
