Common use of AGENCY OMBUDSMAN Clause in Contracts

AGENCY OMBUDSMAN. ‌ In accordance with FAR 16.505 (a)(10) no protest under $10,000,000 is authorized in connection with the issuance or proposed issuance of an order under a Task-Order Contract or Delivery-Order Contract, except for a protest on the grounds that the Task Order increases the scope, period of performance, or maximum value of the Master Contract. GSA Personnel Only: Subject to GSAR 552.216-74, GSA designates an Ombudsman to this Master Contract. For the purposes of the Master Contract, the primary duties of the GSA Ombudsman, as it concerns GSA GWACS, is to review complaints from Contractors and ensure that they are afforded a fair opportunity for consideration in the award of Task Orders consistent with the procedures of the Master Contract.
